There is another season coming in your life.
Are you prepared to step into it?
How is your heart posture while you wait?
What are you doing to prepare?
What is heart posture?
Heart posture is the positioning of your heart.
The emotion of your heart,
the very depths of the emotion that no one can see but God.
The definition of posture is “the position in which someone holds their body when standing or sitting.” Or “a particular
way of dealing with or considering something; an approach or attitude.”
When you are giving to someone in need. When you’re passing by a homeless person and decide to give them a
meal or money or prayer or some type of encouragement, what is your heart posture when you’re doing that? No one
forced you to do it so in your heart, you felt deeply that that person needed to be seen and heard and cared for in that
moment.
Just like a soldier on the frontlines of battle would stand in a ready position, holding their weapons and shield ready
to brace for impact.
Or a runner at the start line, is positioned down and ready to spring forward at the sound of the start signal.
So while you’re waiting what is your heart posture?
Are you frustrated?
Are you impatient?
Are you doubtful?
Or are you in a ready stance?
Remember that Jeremiah 29:11 says For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of
peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.
For those of you who identify as Christians, you understand what we mean when we say seasons. Remember in
Ecclesiastes, it talks about the seasons of life.
Ecclesiastes 3: 1-8
To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven:
2 A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted;
3 A time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up;
4 A time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance;
5 A time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones together; a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from
embracing;
6 A time to get, and a time to lose; a time to keep, and a time to cast away;
7 A time to rend, and a time to sew; a time to keep silence, and a time to speak;
8 A time to love, and a time to hate; a time of war, and a time of peace.
Seasons in the natural refers to the weather.
The definition of season from Oxford is “each of the four divisions of the year (spring, summer, autumn, and winter)
marked by particular weather patterns and daylight hours, resulting from the earth's changing position with regard to
the sun.”
But seasons in the spirit refers to the changing of the times in our lives.
It’s a change of perspective
It’s a change of heart
It’s a change of your desires
It’s a change of the things that you pray for
It’s a change of the way you pray for those things
It’s a change in your wisdom
It’s a change in your discernment
It’s a change in your understanding
It’s a deeper understanding of your calling
It’s a deeper knowledge of your purpose.
The things that you once thought would be forever are no longer.
For what you did in the last season taught you what you needed to learn to transition to the next season.
For the things you saw in the last season will teach you what you will not walk into in the next season.
Even the people you thought would be part of your life for the long-haul will not be with you in the next season.
The Lord is taking you to a place that is new.
You can’t take the old into the new.
This is a new season of blossoming into someone that you won’t recognize.
Those from your past will not be able to see the change because when they look at you, all they see is your past which is why they will stay in the old season as you transition into the new.
The Greek word Kairos (Strong’s concordance #2540) refers to the meaning of a special occasion.
Your Kairos time is coming.
The Greek word chronos (Strong’s concordance #5550) refers to a time frame of events in God’s plan, also known as seasons.
So your kairos is coming according to His timing.
This is also a season where you need to protect your boundaries at all costs.
Stop sweeping aside the red flags.
Pay attention and stay vigilant.
Remember that the enemy will use anyone or anything to throw you off track.
This next season is crucial in this area of your life.
There will be an accelerated development.
There will be opening of doors you have been knocking on.
There will be roads paved that were once rocky.
The seeds you have sown will now bring forth a fruitful harvest.
